HIRING REQUIREMENTS

   You’ve decided to seek employment with Brighter Day, and we believe that was a good decision.  Brighter Day is an excellent company offering the highest level of pay and some of the best benefits to be found. 

  Our hiring decisions are based on state requirements and the needs of the job.

  Please read the following list carefully.  Brighter Day can hire only those who meet these minimum requirements.  If you do not qualify, we cannot hire you. 

 

You must be 21 years of age and have:

 A reliable vehicle which will be available while you work

A valid driver’s license.  It must not have been suspended in the last  5 years.

Valid insurance on your vehicle.   The insurance must be either in your own name or you must be named as an insured on the policy.

A good Motor Vehicle Record.  We secure a copy of MVR reports during the hiring process.

A criminal record check (OSBI) which meets a certain standard

 

It must not show a conviction, guilty plea or plea of nolo contendere to a felony during the past 5 years.

It must not show a conviction, guilty plea or plea of nolo contendere to a felony count of aggravated assault and battery, homicide, murder, attempted murder, rape, incest, sodomy.  

Neither your  OSBI nor the Abuse registry can show that you have been found guilty of abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of any person entrusted to your care. 

We secure a copy of OSBI reports during the hiring process.  Charges other than those named above will not necessarily prohibit your employment with Brighter Day.
